UPSC Geologist Scientist Pre Exam 2020 Admit Card

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently released the Pre-Examination Admit Card for the post of Geologist and Geologist Recruitment. Candidates who have applied for this recruitment examination can download the admit card.

Examination Centers and dates of conducting the examination are responsible as per the rules mentioned above.

Applicants should note that there will be only one center. like Ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each center except Chennai, Delhi, Dispur, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.

Allocation of centers will be on “first-applied-first lot” basis, and once the capacity of a particular center is attained, will be the same

Age Limit Till 01.01.2020

For this examination, the candidate should meet the following age criteria: – (A) For Geological and Geophysicist and Chemist (Group ‘A’) in Geological Survey of India (A)Attached Office of Ministry of Mines, Government of India: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years Must not have attained the age of 32 on the first day of the year and the month of January The year in which the examination is to be conducted (ie by January 1, 2020) means it should be Not earlier than January 2, 1988 and not later than January 1, 1999.

Maximum Age : 32 years.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

‘A’ for Geologists in Geological Survey of India: Master’s degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geological Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resources Management or Oceanography and Coastal Zone Studies or Petroleum

Note:

Examination Plan

The joint geological examination will consist of three consecutive phases.

  1. Having Computer Based Joint Geological Examination Two papers for selection of candidates for Joint Geological Examination examination. The marks secured in the preliminary examination will be counted for decision making. Final qualification;
